The Impact Of Social Media On Your Life

There are always two laptops in my living room. Our family is a two laptop family.  Both my brother and I are constant couch surfers. We like technology and love being able to look things up at the drop of a hat. I remember when my cousin came over to our apartment with his wife.  He hopped on one of our two laptops and began to talk with one of his friends on the other side of the world in Bulgaria.

I had used a computer to do some amazing things but something triggered in my when I saw my cousin do this.  “Bulgaria!?” I said.  Then I began to think about the iPhone and facebook, blackberry’s and twitter; our entire world has been transformed by technology.  We can waste our time or alter our very existence and the destiny of our families.

This Friday message is very simple:  Don’t just let the world as you see know pass you by.  Use this global platform we call the Internet and express your voice.  Reach people across the world serve people right here in you neighborhood; right here at Alpha Mill Apartments.  Don’t just play around handle your business.
